Dale Skinner is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops, British Columbia. He teaches courses in securities law, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining TRU, Skinner practiced law in Calgary, Alberta for nearly 35 years, including 20 years with McCarthy Tetrault and 15 years with Dentons Canada as a partner specializing in corporate/commercial, securities, and M&A law. He retired from Dentons in 2018 but remains an active member of the Law Society of Alberta. Skinner holds a BA and LLB from the University of Alberta (1984).
