Cynthia L. Hoyle

Cynthia L. Hoyle, FAICP, is an Adjunct Lecturer in Urban and Regional Planning with over 30 years of experience in transportation planning. She specializes in creating community mobility solutions including Complete Streets, bicycle planning, and Safe Routes to School programs.

As a Complete Streets Instructor with the National Complete Streets Coalition and League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists, she develops practical approaches to urban transportation challenges. Her work emphasizes pedestrian safety, traffic calming, and sustainable community design.

Professional service includes chairing the C-U Safe Routes to School Project and membership on Urbana's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission.
