Curtis Sears serves as a Teaching Professor and Associate Chair of the Finance Division at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. He is also affiliated with the Michael A. Klump Center for Real Estate.
Prof. Sears specializes in real estate education with expertise spanning real estate law, development, and finance. His professional background includes a 25-year career as a real estate attorney, developer, and broker prior to entering academia.
His teaching excellence has been recognized through multiple prestigious awards, including the Joseph L. Frascona Teaching Excellence Award, which represents the highest teaching honor at Leeds.
