Curtis Breight is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. He specializes in Renaissance culture and Shakespearean studies, particularly exploring Disability Studies and Mad Studies approaches to Shakespeare’s character of Richard III. His research also examines surveillance, militarism, and drama in the Elizabethan era. He teaches courses on Shakespeare on film and early modern literature.
