Curt J. Howes is a Lecturer at the Huntsman School of Business, Utah State University, where he also serves as an Executive in Residence. He holds an MA in Organizational Communications (Brigham Young University, 1978) and a BA in Interpersonal Communications with a Business Management minor (Brigham Young University, 1977). His career includes 18 years at Exxon in leadership development, 8 years as an associate partner at Accenture’s organizational-change-strategy practice, and founding Organization Performance Strategies, which he currently leads.
His teaching focuses on entrepreneurship, venture execution, finance, and consulting skills, with courses such as MSLE 3580 (New Venture Execution), MSLE 3540 (New Venture Finance), and MSLE 6410 (Enterprise and Value Creation). He advises international organizations like Aramco, ADNOC, and Saudi Arabian municipalities on organizational change and strategy.
He has served on Brigham Young University’s MBA program advisory board and contributes to the Huntsman School’s Consulting Minor program.
