Crystal Maraj is an Assistant Research Professor at the Institute for Simulation and Training (IST) at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She earned her Ph.D. in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) from UCF after completing a Bachelor's in Psychology and an M.S. in Modeling and Simulation. Dr. Maraj leads the Realistic Assessment of Performance in Devices (RAPID) Lab, focusing on evaluating VR/AR technologies, robotics, and simulation-based training systems for military and healthcare applications. Her work emphasizes human-systems engineering, usability testing, and statistical analysis to improve training platforms.
