Crystal L. Austin

Dr. Crystal L. Austin is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Psychological Studies in Education department at Temple University's College of Education and Human Development. She earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Albany and maintains licensure as a psychologist in Pennsylvania. Her professional background includes roles in university/community mental health settings spanning intervention, assessment, outreach, and supervision.

Her research examines counseling psychology, qualitative methodologies, and racial dynamics, with specialized focus on:
