Cristopher Brack is an Associate Professor at the Fenner School of Environment & Society, ANU. His research focuses on forest measurement, management, and decision-support systems, integrating applied statistics, remote sensing, and modeling. He previously held roles as Senior Inventory Officer in NSW and inaugural Chair/Professor of Forestry at Waiariki Institute (New Zealand), where he enhanced research capacity. Returning to ANU in 2013, he now holds an honorary position while continuing work with land and urban foresters. His work influenced Australia’s National Carbon Accounting System, recognized by the Eureka Award.
