Cristina Demaria is a Full Professor of Semiotics at the Department of the Arts, University of Bologna. She also serves as the Rector's Delegate for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Semiotics (1996) and a degree in Drama, Art, and Music Studies (1992), both from the University of Bologna.
