Carlo Andrea Tassinari

Carlo Andrea Tassinari is a Fixed-term Researcher in Tenure Track at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Bologna. His research focuses on semiotics applied to ecological controversies, the Anthropocene hypothesis, memory studies, and legal discourse. He holds dual PhDs in Language Sciences (University of Toulouse 2) and Cultural Heritage (University of Palermo). Since 2023, he has been a Marie Curie Fellow for the VAMP project, collaborating with UNESP and Origens Media Lab. His work bridges semiotics with social sciences, analyzing conflicts over environmental policy and non-human agency in political contexts.

Education: Graduated in Semiotics (University of Bologna, 2014); PhD in Language Sciences (Toulouse 2, 2019); PhD in Cultural Heritage (Palermo, 2022). Academic qualifications include Maître de Conférence in France (2019) and membership in multiple scientific committees.
