Craig Winstead

Dr. Craig Winstead serves as Dean of the Stiller School of Business and the Division of Communication & Creative Media at Champlain College. With a career spanning corporate and academic leadership, he brings expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and faculty supervision. Previously, he held a 12-year corporate tenure at Verizon Communications, specializing in management roles, followed by 12 years at Saint Leo University, including seven years as a department chair. His research focuses on ethical decision-making, moral business leadership, and integrating technology in higher education. Dr. Winstead holds a PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University, an MS in Leadership and Business Ethics from Duquesne University, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Education highlights include a BA in Theater Arts from Bowdoin College and a master’s certificate from George Washington University. He frequently publishes in academic journals and speaks at conferences on business ethics and education innovation.
