Cathy Duffy

Cathy Duffy is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at the Stiller School of Business, Champlain College. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California, an M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University, and a Doctorate in Education Leadership from California Lutheran University. With over 27 years of teaching experience, Duffy specializes in undergraduate accounting and business education. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and actively involved with professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and American Accounting Association (AAA).

Her career spans public accounting, the oil and gas industry, and academia. Duffy resides in Essex, Vermont, with her family, having relocated from the Chicagoland area via California and Wisconsin in 2016. She emphasizes practical, career-oriented education aligned with Champlain College’s mission.
