Courtney Grile

Courtney Grile is Professor of Liberal Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design. With an MFA in Theatre from University of Central Florida, her practice centers on applied drama, theatre for youth, and community engagement methodologies.

Research examines democratization through performance, with publications analyzing revolutionary contexts and ethical frameworks for participatory theatre. Recent projects include feminist performance ethnography with the SoloSIRENs Collective.
