Courtenay Atwell

Dr. Courtenay Atwell serves as Research Development Manager at UNSW Business School and teaches as a Casual Academic. She holds a PhD in Franchise Contracts from UNSW, a Master of Business Law focusing on International Business Law, and a Bachelor of Commerce. With 11 years at UNSW, she previously managed the Gonski Institute for Education, Centre for Continuing Legal Education, and China International Business Law Centre.

Her research examines franchise contract law, particularly cooling-off periods, disclosure requirements, and international franchising regulation. Recent publications analyze comparative franchise laws and digital legal education methodologies.
