Corey Creekmur is an Associate Professor in both the Department of English and the Department of Cinema and Comparative Literature at the University of Iowa. He serves as Director of the Institute for Cinema and Culture, and is on the executive boards of the Program in Sexuality Studies and International Programs. His research focuses on 20th-century American literature and film, African-American popular culture, film genres, and representations of race and sexuality.
