Constanza Pacher is Associate Professor in the Department of Design at MacEwan University. With over twenty years of industry experience, she holds an M.Des from University of Alberta and B.Des from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina.
Her research investigates teaching methodologies in design education, particularly experiential learning strategies to enhance student engagement. She develops collaborative projects connecting design students with music and literature programs, including the Bent River Records Album Design Competition and MacEwan Book of the Year Design Project.
Awards recognize her pedagogical innovations, including the 2016 Distinguished Teaching Award and 2021 RGD Design Educator Honorable Mention. She teaches typography and visual communication design courses.
