Constance Nestor

Constance Nestor is a PhD Researcher in History at the University of Stirling, focusing on the American Revolution Era. She holds a Researcher academic rank and is affiliated with the Department of History and Politics. Her roles include Fellow at the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, Editor of the SPARK Postgraduate Journal, and Governor of the Illinois Saint Andrew Society/Chicago Scots. She was awarded the 2022 Kinswoman of the Year for her community leadership and scholarly contributions.

Her research interests span American History, Scottish History, and UK History, with current projects at institutions like the American Revolution Institute and the University of North Carolina. Nestor has secured competitive fellowships, including a 2023 Research Fellowship at the Society of the Cincinnati Library in Washington D.C. She also serves on advisory boards, including the St. Giles Cathedral Diaspora Project in Edinburgh.
