Connie Wanberg is a Professor and Industrial Relations Faculty Excellence Chair in the Work and Organizations Department at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. An internationally recognized scholar on unemployment, job search, and careers, she teaches human resources, leadership, and organizational behavior courses.
Her research examines psychological and structural dimensions of employment transitions, leader development pathways, and determinants of career success. She has held visiting positions at the University of Amsterdam, Université Jean Moulin, and Fundacíon Ortega y Gasset.
Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, American Psychological Association, and Academy of Management, Wanberg has held leadership roles including department chair and associate dean for undergraduate programs.
