Colin Hennessy Elliott

Colin Hennessy Elliott is an Assistant Clinical Professor of STEM Education at Drexel University. He holds a PhD from New York University, an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His research focuses on sociopolitical solidarity in STEM education, youth-centered learning, and power dynamics in educational settings.

Dr. Elliott's research examines how positioning and power affect learning in robotics teams, with particular interest in supporting marginalized youth. His work develops frameworks for debugging pedagogies and explores equity in technology education.

His publications primarily investigate educational technology implementation, physical computing challenges, and community-based STEM learning. Recent articles examine teacher support systems, classroom infrastructure, and co-design approaches for STEM education.

Dr. Elliott maintains research collaborations focused on equitable technology education and youth development programs.
