Colette Kirk

Colette Kirk is a Research Fellow at the Newcastle University Faculty of Medical Sciences, supported by an Integrated HEE/NIHR Clinical Academic Fellowship. Her role splits 80% academic research time and 20% clinical practice. She focuses on understanding biological impairments affecting quality of life in intestinal failure patients, particularly addressing liver disease and multimorbidity. This research aims to inform future interventions to improve clinical outcomes.
