Colette Darcy

Colette Darcy is a Professor of Public Service Leadership and Management Practice, and serves as Registrar/Head of the Whitaker School of Government and Management at the Institute of Public Administration (IPA). With over 20 years in higher education, she leads academic programs focused on advancing public service excellence through education, research, and professional development.

Education: She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick, where her research centered on fairness judgments in employment termination.

Research Interests: Her work spans organizational behavior, work-life balance, and employee engagement. She advocates for lifelong learning and integrates practical insights into public service leadership through teaching and research.
