Clinton A. Branscombe

Clinton A. Branscombe is an Associate Professor of Old Testament at Kingswood University, specializing in bringing ancient biblical texts to life through fresh perspectives. He holds an M.Rel. (Old Testament) from Wycliffe College (1992) and B.A. degrees in Philosophy (Acadia University, 1985) and Religion (Kingswood University, 1980). His research focuses on the patriarch Jacob and Genesis, aiming to deepen students' understanding of the Old Testament for biblical worldview development.

Teaching & Research:

• Teaches courses including Biblical Literature I, Hebrew Inductive Bible Study, Philosophy, and Old Testament Survey.
• Emphasizes Genesis and the life of Jacob as central research topics.

Personal: Enjoys woodworking, DIY home renovation, and daily walks to campus while listening to podcasts. He and his wife were the first BBC graduates married in the former Nicholson Hall chapel.
