Cliff Nielsen

Cliff Nielsen is a Professor at ArtCenter College of Design, specializing in Illustration. He serves as a freelance illustrator, graphic novel artist, and motion designer with clients including major publishers such as Stephen King, John Grisham, and Edgar Allan Poe. Nielsen teaches courses like ILL-277-01: Digital Life and ILL-356-02: Visual Development.

Education: Valedictorian at ArtCenter College of Design (1994).

Research focuses on digital art techniques and visual storytelling, reflected in his work across comic books and print media. He is an international speaker on digital art and has judged for the Society of Illustrators and other professional programs.
