J.T. Steiny

J.T. Steiny is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Illustration at Otis College of Art and Design. As a freelance Illustrator, painter, comic artist, cartoonist, and book illustrator, his work has been featured in prominent publications and media outlets including the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, and Hollywood Reporter. He has collaborated with major entertainment companies such as Sony Records, Warner Bros Records, and Jim Henson Productions.

Education:

• BFA in Illustration from Otis College of Art and Design

His creative practice spans editorial illustration, comics, and book illustration, with a focus on visual storytelling and commercial art applications. The breadth of his client portfolio demonstrates versatility across print and digital media, entertainment branding, and journalistic contexts.
