Cleo Robinson

Cleo Robinson is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Western Australia, specializing in Pathology and Laboratory Science. Her research focuses on cancer diagnostics, including mesothelioma, melanoma, and biomarker development. She has contributed to studies on tumor mutational burden assessment and rapid onsite evaluation techniques in lung cancer. Robinson holds a BSc from Newcastle University (UK) and a PhD from the Open University (UK). She leads projects investigating molecular guided therapies for gliomas and sarcomas, collaborating with institutions like the National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases. Awards include the 2022 Fellowship of the Faculty of Science. Her work integrates clinical pathology with advanced genomic techniques to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment strategies.
