Cleo Muglia

Cleo Muglia is a contract Professor at the University of International Studies of Rome – UNINT and the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata' since 2024. She holds a PhD in Modern Language Teaching (2024) from Guglielmo Marconi University of Rome, specializing in suggestopedia methodologies for Spanish as a Foreign Language. Her academic background includes a Master's in Teaching Methodologies for Students with Specific Learning Disabilities (2017) and certifications enabling her to teach Spanish language and literature at university and high school levels in Italy and Spain.

She graduated from La Sapienza University of Rome (2009) and completed a specialization in Translation and Conference Interpreting at UNINT (2012). Her professional experience includes Italian language teaching in Spain, freelance translation/interpretation across multiple agencies, and certified translations at Rome’s Civil Court. She worked with the Instituto Cervantes in Rome for cultural events involving international figures.

Active in academic associations, she is a member of AISPI (Italian Hispanic Association) and ANILS (National Association of Foreign Language Teachers). Her working languages are Italian, Spanish, English, and Portuguese, with proficiency in French and Catalan.
