Clemente Abrokwaa serves as Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the African Studies Program at The Pennsylvania State University, teaching courses in African History and Contemporary Africa.

Dr. Abrokwaa's research examines critical African developmental issues through interdisciplinary lenses including Science and Technology, Education, Globalization, Politics, Multiculturalism, Economic Development, and Peace and Conflict Studies, with emphasis on education-economy-socio-political interconnections.
He directs the Penn State Model African Union Group (participating annually at Howard University since 1997), previously advised the African Students Association (1999-2017), and currently mentors the Kuwaiti Students Association.
