Claudia Wilhelm

Claudia Wilhelm is a Lecturer at the Chair of Religious Education & Catechetics within the Faculty of Catholic Theology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). Her work focuses on integrating subject-specific and inclusion-oriented training components into teacher education programs, particularly addressing language learning in heterogeneous classrooms through collaborative projects with partner schools.

• Education: Studied teaching special education at TU Dortmund (1996-2001), passed 1st State Examination (2001), completed traineeship at Gelsenkirchen Teacher Training College (2002-2004), and obtained 2nd State Examination (2004).

Professional Activities: Has served as a teacher at Hans-Christian-Andersen School, a special school for language in Castrop-Rauxel since 2004. Participated in a secondment program (2012-2013) at Schillerschule, a municipal secondary school.

Research Projects: Leads a multi-part teaching project (since winter semester 2019/2020) funded by RUB to implement inclusive pedagogical practices in the Master of Education program, emphasizing religious language support.
