Clara Maria Fiorentini is an Assistant Lecturer in Education (Literacy) at Marino Institute of Education, Dublin. She specializes in literacy education and children’s literature, having transitioned from a 11-year career as a primary school teacher in Co. Dublin. Her current PhD research at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) focuses on early literacy development and transitions to formal learning under supervisors Dr Ann Devitt and Prof. Nóirín Hayes. She holds an MA in Children’s Literature from Dublin City University (DCU) and a B.Ed. in Primary Teaching also from DCU.
