Chrystopher L. Nehaniv is a Professor in Systems Design Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where he founded the Waterloo Algebraic Intelligence & Computation Laboratory. He holds joint affiliation with the University of Hertfordshire and serves as Associate Director of the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation. His research focuses on algebraic methods in AI, robotics, and complex adaptive systems.
