Christopher Burke is an Associate Professor in the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at the University of Reading, UK. His work focuses on the history of design and visual communication, particularly the Isotype system developed in interwar Vienna. He has held a Research Fellowship at the University of Vienna and co-curated the V&A's 'Isotype: International Picture Language' exhibition.
