Christoph Paetz is a research associate at the Institute of Macroeconomics and Business Cycle Research (IMK) of the Hans Böckler Foundation, within the Tax and Fiscal Policy Department. He also teaches regularly at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW).

Research Interests: His research focuses on European economic policy, tax and fiscal policy, fiscal rules, macroeconomic performance, and econometric modeling.
Professional Background: He has completed internships at the German Embassy in London, the German Trade Union Confederation, and the IMK. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for International Political Economy (IPE) in Berlin.
