Christine Lyon

Christine Lyon is a Professor of Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta since 2023. She holds an M.F.A. from California College of the Arts and a B.A. in Art from Sarah Lawrence College. Her academic roles include Adjunct Professor at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District (2023), Art Instructor at City College of San Francisco (2022–23), and Visual Arts Resident at the San Francisco Arts Education Project (2021–22). Lyon specializes in contemporary painting and art education, with a focus on studio practices and pedagogy.
