Christina M. Greer is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Fordham University's Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan. With a PhD from Columbia University, her work focuses on American politics, Black ethnic politics, urban governance, and public opinion.
- Education: BA from Tufts University, MA/MPhil/PhD in Political Science from Columbia University
Her research spans Black political behavior, racial identity, and urban policy. She has written extensively on mayors' roles in public policy, comparative criminal justice responses in Boston/Baltimore, and the impact of immigration on Black politics. Recent publications include How to Build a Democracy (2024) and Black Politics in Transition (2019).
Greer actively engages public discourse through her column in The Amsterdam News and frequent media commentary. She co-hosts FAQ-NYC and explores intersections of race, gender, and political representation in her work.
