Christina Kolaiti

Dr. Christina Kolaiti is a Senior Lecturer in Photography at York St John University's School of the Arts, where she designed the BA (Hons) Photography curriculum and leads research in photographic practice. Her work integrates psychoanalytic theory with medical and community engagement, notably through her 'photographic re-narration' methodology. She has collaborated with NHS trusts, medical schools, and institutions like the Royal Photographic Society, producing impactful projects such as the Mind The Gap exhibition (2023) and award-winning medical photography programs.
