Christina Huhn serves as Professor of Spanish Education and Coordinator of the Spanish Education program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs within the Language, Literature, and Writing Department. She also functions as the department webmaster, leveraging her technology expertise.
Her research focuses on teacher preparation programs, classroom language proficiency development for beginning learners, program assessment methodologies, and technology integration in language education. She actively contributes to National Language Standards implementation in higher education settings through her scholarly work and presentations.
Huhn holds a PhD in Foreign Language Education and Technology from Purdue University, with master's and doctoral research centered on program reviews. She volunteers for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation and serves as president of the Appalachian Professional Language Educators' Society.
