Christian Holstad is a Professor at ABABO, where he teaches courses in Ceramic Techniques (for Architectural Decoration) and Typology of New Materials for Sculpture. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, specializing in ceramics, textiles, printmaking, and Jungian philosophy. He maintains ongoing collaborations with galleries including Andrew Kreps Gallery (New York), Victoria Miro Gallery (London), and Massimo De Carlo Gallery (Milan). Notable projects include the environmentally focused installation Cornucopia - Consider Yourself as a Guest exhibited during the Venice Biennale, and the educational Pasta Workshop developed with artist Sissi at ABABO, which will be published as a book by Corraini Edizioni.
