Christian Gigault

Christian Gigault is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Ottawa. His office is located in room STM 435, and he can be reached at (613) 562-5800 ext. 6772.

His research portfolio spans multiple domains, including current work in experimental biophysics and micro-fluidics. Previous investigations include characterizing thermal/mechanical/optical properties of metallic and polymer thin films, developing fiberoptic telecommunication components, and collaborating with Canada's National Research Council on atomic time standards—notably contributing to Canada's first Cesium Fountain atomic clock.
