Christian Enemark is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Southampton's School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences. He holds a BA, LLB, and PhD. His research focuses on ethics of war, global health politics, international security, and arms control. He led the European Research Council-funded DRONETHICS project (2018-2023), exploring ethical governance of drone violence. Currently, he co-leads the UKRI TAS Hub on autonomous systems. He previously served at Aberystwyth University and held visiting fellowships at Australian National University. Awards include Most Engaging Lecturer (2017) and New Staff Member of the Year (2014).
His teaching includes modules on ethics of war, global health politics, and security theory. He supervises PhD students like Peter Sturgess. Notable publications include Moralities of Drone Violence (2023) and articles on drone warfare ethics.
