Christian Coons

Christian Coons is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2007. His research spans major subfields of moral philosophy, including normative ethics, axiology, metaethics, and political/legal theory.

• Focus on theory selection in normative ethics and the structure of morality
• Contributions to applied ethics, paternalism, and manipulation

He received a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for his doctoral work and has edited volumes on ethical topics.
