Christian Bisson

Christian Bisson is a Professor and Program Coordinator for Adventure Education at Plymouth State University (PSU). He has over three decades of experience in outdoor education, working with diverse populations including young offenders, students, and seniors. His academic focus spans outdoor pedagogy, curriculum design, and risk management.

• Ed.D. in Physical Education (Pedagogy) from University of Northern Colorado
• M.Sc. in Outdoor Teacher Education from Northern Illinois University
• B.Sc. in Physical Education / Outdoor Concentration from Université de Sherbrooke

His research emphasizes effective outdoor teaching strategies, curriculum development, and human-nature relationships. Bisson is currently authoring an instructor handbook on outdoor education pedagogy.
