Jennifer Kafsky

Dr. Jennifer Kafsky is Professor and Director of Teaching and Learning at Brevard College, coordinating the Wilderness Leadership & Experiential Education program. She holds a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management from Clemson University, an M.S. from Ohio University, and a B.S. in Elementary Education.

Her expertise includes Leave No Trace principles, outdoor leadership, and adventure education pedagogy. Professional certifications include ACA Instructor Trainer (Level IV Kayaking/Canoeing) and Wilderness First Responder.

Awards recognize leadership in outdoor education and teaching excellence. Publications focus on program administration and staff assessment in outdoor contexts. She develops curricula integrating experiential methodologies with academic standards.
