Chris Porter

Dr Chris Porter is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University (Faculty of Arts and Humanities). He serves as the Departmental Disability Co-ordinator and is a member of the Global Studies Association and the Centre for the Study of Football and its Communities (CSFC). His work focuses on intersections of class, culture, and politics through empirical studies of football supporter ownership, community activism, and neoliberal economic structures.
