Chris Kipps

Dr Chris Kipps is a researcher at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Institute for Life Sciences and the Interdisciplinary Dementia and Ageing Centre. His work focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, including Huntington’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis, with a strong emphasis on integrated care models and biomarker research.

Research Interests:

• Neuroinflammation and its role in neurodegeneration
• Development of diagnostic tools and sensitivity metrics (e.g., ADCOMS)
• Longitudinal analysis of disease progression in neurological disorders
• Implementation of standardized diagnostic coding in outpatient neurology
