Chris Kalafatis

Dr. Chris Kalafatis is a Consultant Psychiatrist at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and holds an academic affiliation with King's College London. He specializes in Old Age Psychiatry, digital health innovation, and neurocognitive disorders. His clinical work focuses on undiagnosed ADHD in adults and the application of AI-driven tools for early diagnosis and monitoring. He developed the NHS's first virtual Brain Health Clinic and pioneered telepsychiatry frameworks in NHS psychiatric trusts.

Research interests include biomarker development for Alzheimer’s disease, digital diagnostics, and healthy brain ageing.
