Chris F Wright is a Professor of Work and Labour Market Policy at the University of Sydney Business School and serves as PRME Academic Director. He holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
His research focuses on institutional drivers of decent work, labour migration in low-wage sectors, and comparative employment relations methodologies. He has advised governments globally and contributed to over 100 scholarly works, including co-authoring Work and Industrial Relations Policy in Australia (2025) and editing volumes like Protecting the Future of Work (2023).
