Dr. Chloe Wallace is an Associate Professor in Law at the School of Law, University of Leeds. She joined in 1999 after completing her PhD at the University of Kent. Her roles include Deputy Head of School, Mitigating Circumstances Lead, and Programme Manager for the LLB Law with Languages. She is also a Co-Director of the Centre for Innovation and Research in Legal Education and a former branch officer of Leeds University UCU.
Education: LLB English and French Law (Essex), LLM European Law (Kent), PhD Law (Kent).
Research focuses on legal pedagogy, study abroad experiences, storytelling in education, and the intersection of law with humanities and language. She explores how fictional world-building techniques can enhance curricula and advocates for marginalized voices in education.
Teaching includes European Constitutional Law and European Legal Systems. She mentors junior colleagues in education-focused roles and emphasizes empowering, liberatory learning practices.
