Professor Chin-Chin Tseng is a faculty member in the Department of Chinese as a Second Language at National Taiwan Normal University. Her research focuses on Mandarin teaching methodologies, psychomotor learning applications in language education, and sociolinguistic aspects of second language acquisition. She has conducted studies on utterance-final particles in teacher-student interactions, psychomotor modules for business Chinese fluency, and chatbot applications for migrant workers' rights protection.
Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and decent work. Notable projects include analyzing European learners' Mandarin tone production, developing AI-driven language courses for new immigrants, and discourse analysis of online language interactions. She has secured three government grants from Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology between 2017-2022.
Her research explores how regional Mandarin variations, heritage language background, and technological tools impact language learning outcomes. Future studies aim to further investigate psychomotor pedagogy and cross-cultural communication barriers in language education.
