Chiara Trevisan is a Researcher in the Eco-Epidemiology Unit at the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp, Belgium. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Copenhagen (2017). Her work focuses on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), particularly neurocysticercosis and onchocerciasis, employing a One Health approach to integrate human, animal, and environmental health perspectives. She has led and collaborated on 11 international projects, including the RIVER EPILEPSY initiative addressing onchocerciasis-associated epilepsy and the GAMINGforHEALTH project using educational games to combat parasitic diseases.
