Cheng Cheng

Dr. Cheng Cheng is a Senior Research Officer at the Australian National University's School of Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and PhD from ANU. His research focuses on renewable energy integration, decarbonization pathways, energy system modeling, and GIS analysis. He specializes in optimizing off-river pumped hydro energy storage systems. Cheng leads multiple renewable energy projects funded by government and industry grants, and has developed methodologies for energy demand forecasting and least-cost optimization.
